FAQ

Common questions

Are KawaiiToons printables really free?

Yes. Original printables published on this hub are free to download for personal, non-commercial use. We do not gate the files behind a paid membership. If a future printable ever needs an email signup, that requirement will be labeled on the page before you download.

What is a swatch sheet for?

A swatch sheet is a printed grid or strip where you can test markers, pens, or pencils before using them on a coloring book or journal page. It is useful for checking color, coverage, and whether ink shows through the paper you have at home.

Are the coloring pages original?

Yes. Coloring pages on KawaiiToons are original designs and original characters, not copies of published coloring books. They are drawn to work with the same kinds of markers, colored pencils, and gel pens covered in our coloring guides.

What paper should I use to print them?

Plain printer paper is enough for many line pages and checklists. For markers, thicker paper usually handles ink better and reduces bleed-through. If you are testing alcohol markers, print a swatch sheet on the paper you actually plan to color on rather than assuming copy paper will behave the same way.

Can I use these printables with kids?

Many printables are suitable for shared tables, but always match the activity to the child’s age, supervision needs, and the tools you put out. Washable markers and crayons are usually easier for younger children than alcohol markers or fine-tip pens.

How do printables connect to the supply guides?

The printables are meant to be used with the same coloring, drawing, and journaling tools we write about. A swatch sheet helps you choose a marker set; a coloring page gives that set something original to do; a chart can keep a small supply kit organized. The supply guides remain the place to compare products.
